About Us

The Department of Magical Gifts is a small independent family owned business run by myself, Roger, my wife Sarah and my mother Joan, selling licensed Harry Potter merchandise and other fantasy gifts. Back in 2018 we opened the doors to 'The Department of Magical Gifts' after my wife gave me the confidence to follow my passion and open a shop selling licensed merchandise from one of my favourite book series 'Harry Potter'. Since then we have strived to stock the largest range of licensed merchandise. 

We now stock over 1,000 different items over a number of fandoms, including Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter as well as unique fantasy gifts!

Constructing the shop itself has been really fun and I've put great detail into the theme to make it feel as magical as the films.
